The above vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be
advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and those  that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list.Subject to the availability of qualified candidates the number of candidates included in the Short List will be decided later. Note: 3%  of the vacancies are reserved for the physically Handicapped candidates. (As per the GO(P)No 119/05/SWD dated 06/08/2005 orthopaedic-upper extremites,lower extremites Low vision)

6 Age Limit : Age 20-39 Only candidates born between 02/01/1973 and 01/01/1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for
this post. Other Backward Communities Scheduled Castes,Scheduled Tribes are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For  conditions regarding the age relaxation please see part (2) of the General Conditions) Note:- Officers of the Technical Education Department, Public Works Department, Publc Health Engineering Department, Industries Department, Architecture and Town Planning Department
may also apply. They will be allowed age relaxation to the extent to their services in those department (Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01/01/2012) Liability to serve in the Defence Services:-

Persons appointed to the post shall be liable not withstanding that the time of requisition they are holding higher appointment, to serve for a minimum period of 4 years (including periods spent on training) in the Defence Services  on assignment relating to Defence effort anywhere in India or abroad, if so required. The liability to serve in the Defence Services will be limited to the first 10 years of service and will not ordinarily apply to persons above 40 years of age.

Qualifications:-

                  First   Class   Bachelor’s   of   degree   in   Automobile     Engineering/Technology   from   a recognized university after undergoing a regular course of study.

Note:-
Basic qualification required in the order of preference.

(1) BTech/BE Degree in Autombile Engineering

(2) B Tech/BE Degree in Mechanical (Automobile) Engineering.

Note:- Percentage of marks obtained for the above mentioned examination and the name of the branch of the course should also be furnished in the column prescribed for noting the qualification for the post in the application form.
