]]> വളാഞ്ചേരി : ഷാർജയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന Exposure International Photography Festival – ൽ മലയാളി യുവാവിന് തിളക്കമാർന്ന നേട്ടം. ഫെബ്രുവരി 28 മുതൽ മാർച്ച് 05 വരെ യു.എ.ഇ യിലെ ഷാർജയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഫിലിം – ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി – ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫി ഫെസ്റ്റിവലിലെ ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫി വിഭാഗത്തിലെ മത്സര ഇനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നാണ് മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ വളാഞ്ചേരി സ്വദേശിയായ പി.എ. ഷുക്കൂർ ഈ അഭിമാന നേട്ടം കൈവരിച്ചത്. 120 രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രതിഭകൾ ഈ മേളയിൽ മാറ്റുരക്കാനെത്തിയിരുന്നു.‌

വളാഞ്ചേരി മൂച്ചിക്കലിലെ പരേതനായ പരുത്തിക്കലായിൽ മമ്മിക്കുട്ടി ഹാജിയുടെ ഇളയമകനാണ് ഷാർജയിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഷുക്കൂർ. ഇതിനു മുമ്പും യു.എ.ഇ യുടെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നടന്നിരുന്ന ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫി മേളകളിൽ ഷുക്കൂറിന്റെ ക്യാമറാക്ലിക്കുകൾ ഇടം നേടിയിരുന്നു. ഷാർജാ എമിറേറ്റിന്റെ ഉപ ഭരണാധികാരി സുൽത്താൻ ബിൻ അഹമ്മദ് അൽ ഖാസിമിയിൽ നിന്നും രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തിനുള്ള ബഹുമതി ഷുക്കൂർ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
