പ്രശ്‌നം രൂക്ഷമായതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് വിവരമറിഞ്ഞ എം.എല്‍.എ. അബ്ദുസ്സമദ് സമദാനി എം.പി, ജില്ലാകളക്ടര്‍, ആര്‍.ഡി.ഒ എന്നിവരുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് വാഹനങ്ങളിലുള്ള യന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ കമ്പനിയില്‍ത്തന്നെ തിരിച്ചിറക്കുകയും കളക്ടറുടെ നിര്‍ദേശപ്രകാരം ആര്‍.ഡി.ഒ കമ്പനി പൂട്ടി സീല്‍വെക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
തിങ്കളാഴ്ച രാത്രിയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. ലോറികളും ജെ.സി.ബിയുമായെത്തിയ ബാംബൂ കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ അധികൃതര്‍ കമ്പനിയില്‍നിന്ന് വലിയ യന്ത്രങ്ങളും മറ്റും കടത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച രാവിലെ കമ്പനിയില്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ സംശയം തോന്നിയ പ്രദേശവാസികള്‍ റോഡില്‍ തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത്. തുടര്‍ന്നായിരുന്നു കളക്ടറുള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ളവരുടെ ഇടപെടല്‍.
2009ല്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനമാരംഭിച്ച സംസ്‌കരണയൂണിറ്റില്‍ 20 പേര്‍ക്ക് പ്രത്യക്ഷമായും പത്തോളം പേര്‍ക്ക് പരോക്ഷമായും തൊഴില്‍ ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇവിടെ നിര്‍മിക്കുന്ന ഷീറ്റ് കോഴിക്കോട് നല്ലളത്തേക്കായിരുന്നു കയറ്റി അയച്ചിരുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ 2012 ജൂലായില്‍ ഒരു മുന്നറിയിപ്പുമില്ലാതെ കമ്പനി പൂട്ടി.
യൂണിറ്റ് ഉടന്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം തുടങ്ങും – സമദാനി എം.എല്‍.എ
മാറാക്കര ഗ്രാമപ്പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനമായ ജാറത്തിങ്കലില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ബാംബൂ കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്റെ മുള സംസ്‌കരണ യൂണിറ്റ് ഉടന്‍ തുറക്കുമെന്ന് എം.പി. അബ്ദുസ്സമദ് സമദാനി എം.എല്‍.എ. പറഞ്ഞു. മുളയുടെ ക്ഷാമം മൂലമാണ് കുറച്ചുകാലമായി കമ്പനി അടഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നത്. ആഴ്ചകള്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍ തുറക്കാനുള്ള നടപടികളുമായി മുന്നോട്ടുപോകുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് തിങ്കളാഴ്ച രാത്രിയില്‍ യന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടുപോകാനുള്ള ശ്രമമുണ്ടായത്. വിവരമറിഞ്ഞ ഉടനെ അത് തടയാനുള്ള നീക്കം കളക്ടര്‍ മുഖേന നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും സമദാനി പറഞ്ഞു.
