]]> വളാഞ്ചേരി പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ വികസനത്തിലേക്ക് INR1.3 കോടിയുടെ കേന്ദ്ര സഹായം. തിങ്കളാഴ്ച്ച കാവും‌പുറത്തുള്ള ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ വച്ചു നടന്ന ജനസമ്പർക്ക പരിപാടിയിൽ പൊന്നാനി ലോകസഭാ മണ്ഡലം എം പി, ഇ ടി മുഹമ്മദ് ബഷീർ ആണ് ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്.

ക്ലീൻ സിറ്റി എന്ന വികസന പദ്ധതിയിലേക്ക് INR1.3 കോടിയുടെ എസ്റ്റിമേറ്റും അനുമതിയുമായതായി എം‌പി പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ടൗണില്‍ നിലവിലുള്ള റോഡുകള്‍ വീതികൂട്ടി ടാറിങ് നടത്തും. കാല്‍നടയാത്രക്കാര്‍ക്ക് പ്രത്യേക നടപ്പാത നിര്‍മിച്ച് ടൈല്‍സ് വിരിക്കും. പാതയ്ക്ക് കൈവരികളും നിര്‍മിക്കും.
